Summary of the contracting process

The public procurement process for "The Supply and Maintenance of NCHA CCTV Systems across multiple sites" is being undertaken by Nottingham Community Housing Association Limited, a sub-central government public authority based in Nottingham, UK. This project falls under the industry category of services, specifically for surveillance and security systems and devices, and it covers multiple locations across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and Rutland. Currently, the procurement is in the planning stage, with a preliminary market engagement notice published in June 2025. Key deadlines include expressing interest by 28th July 2025, with the actual procurement expected to open around October 2025 for six weeks, and contract award anticipated between January and March 2026, aiming for an April 2026 start.

This tender offers significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for companies specialising in security services, surveillance systems, and maintenance of security equipment. Businesses with expertise in upgrading, maintaining, and servicing CCTV systems, including the installation and decommissioning of such equipment, will find themselves well-suited to compete. The substantial contract value ranging from £1.6 to £3 million presents an attractive proposition for businesses looking to establish or expand their market presence across the East Midlands. Engaging in this tender could lead to establishing a long-term relationship with an organisation like NCHA, which manages approximately 10,000 homes and serves a broad community.
