Preliminary Market Engagement Notice - Door Entry Systems - ID691
Notice Description
Trent & Dove Housing is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to deliver the servicing, maintenance, and reactive repair of door entry and associated security systems across its housing stock. The scope of this procurement includes the inspection, testing, planned preventative maintenance, and responsive repairs for the following equipment types: Door entry and access control systems (audio/visual, single and multi-block) Door closers and assisted opening systems Automatic gates, barriers, and powered doors Closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems Warden call systems Intruder alarm systems Associated electrical and control components The appointed service provider will be responsible for ensuring that all systems remain fully operational and compliant with current British Standards, statutory requirements, and Trent & Dove's internal compliance framework. The contract will support the continued safe and reliable operation of security and access systems within communal and residential areas, ensuring the protection of residents, visitors, and assets. Key outcomes include: Maintaining 100% compliance with applicable standards and regulations Providing timely, high-quality maintenance and repair services Delivering value for money through efficient scheduling and digital reporting Supporting Trent & Dove's social value, sustainability, and community investment objectives This procurement aims to secure a service partner capable of providing a customer-focused, resilient, and technically proficient service that underpins Trent & Dove's mission to transform homes, lives, and neighbourhoods.
Planning Information
Interested suppliers are invited to participate in this pre-market engagement exercise by reviewing and completing the Pre-Market Engagement (PME) Questionnaire provided with this notice. The purpose of this engagement is to gather supplier insight, innovation, and feedback to help Trent & Dove Housing shape the upcoming Door Entry and Security Systems Servicing & Maintenance procurement. This includes the servicing, maintenance, and reactive repair of door entry, CCTV, access control, warden call, and related security systems across our housing stock. Suppliers should: Download and complete the PME Questionnaire attached to this notice. Submit their completed response by email to lewis.pavey@trentanddove.org, clearly marked “PME Response – Door Entry Systems - ID691”. Ensure responses are submitted by the stated closing date. All information gathered will be used solely to inform the future procurement approach and specification. Participation in this exercise is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal tender or prequalification. Trent & Dove Housing may use the feedback received to refine its requirements, evaluation approach, and contract structure. Suppliers who engage in this PME will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any future tender process.
