Summary of the contracting process

Hampshire County Council, in collaboration with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority, has completed the procurement process for a Vehicle Spares, Consumables & Workshop Maintenance Framework set to operate from 2026 to 2030. This procurement falls under the industry category of vehicle parts and service maintenance, conducted through an open procedure. The framework consists of multiple lots, with distinct suppliers assigned to each, covering vehicle spares, lubricants, bottled gases, and workshop tool maintenance services. The contract was awarded to Adams Morey Limited, operating in the industry of vehicle parts and accessories, to supply the required commodities and services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The tender process reached its award stage on 1st July 2026, following an active procurement status in recent months, concluding the procurement stage with contracts valued at amounts up to £1,048,000.

This framework presents promising business opportunities for suppliers in the vehicle maintenance sector, particularly those specialising in automotive parts, lubricants, and maintenance services. By participating in and securing contracts within this framework, businesses can expand their market presence across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, focusing on delivering specified goods and services to servicing workshops. The framework provides a consistent demand for vehicle-related supplies and maintenance services over a four-year period, allowing businesses to establish long-term partnerships with public authorities. Companies equipped with capabilities for the integration of digital stock management systems and those offering OEM-standard parts will find added growth potential in fulfilling framework requirements, thus fostering innovation and efficiency in service provision.
