Summary of the contracting process

The Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, located in East Grinstead, is currently in the planning stage for a procurement process to engage potential suppliers for the provision of a Friends and Family Test service. This service will involve a web-based software solution for designing, administering, and analysing survey questionnaires. Interested organisations are invited to express their interest by 20th January 2026 through email, as part of the preliminary market engagement aimed at testing feasibility and gathering insights. This process falls under the industry category of survey analysis and software services, with a contract period slated from 1st May 2026 to 30th April 2029. The planned value of the contract is approximately £90,000 GBP, and more details can be found in the market engagement notice published on 17th December 2025.

This tender opportunity presents strong growth potential for companies specialising in software development, survey administration, and data analysis. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in software package and information systems or SMS services will find this tender particularly appealing. Participating in the preliminary engagement allows businesses to shape future procurement plans and potentially establish a relationship with a central government authority. Given the nature of the service requirements, businesses focused on providing innovative and scalable survey solutions are well-positioned to compete effectively in this procurement process.
