Summary of the contracting process

Business Services Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service is establishing a closed framework on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland, with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and the Northern, South Eastern, Southern and Western Health and Social Care Trusts as buyers. The requirement is for the supply and delivery of community electric profiling beds, medical beds and mattresses, including standard, low-entry, high-low, heavy-duty and bariatric beds, paediatric beds and a height-adjustable paediatric cot. Products must include compatible reactive-support or high-specification foam mattresses, accessories and spare parts; some paediatric lots include desirable accessories. Deliveries are for community health and social care use across Northern Ireland, serving sites associated with the participating Trusts. This is a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice to seek additional engagement with the market place to gather information associated for the provision of Preliminary Market Engagement for Community Profiling Beds, Mattresses and Associated Products. To this end the Business Services Organisation, Procurement and Logistics Service on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI), wish to engage with potential suppliers to obtain a market view of the potential requirements through the completion of a Questionnaire.
