The Utility Regulator may require gas support in the following areas: Gas industry price controls; * Development of the gas transmission network; * Development of the gas distribution network; and * Development of high-pressure gas storage. * Evolving issues in the gas networks during energy transition development * Lot 2: Specialist Technical Advice and Regulatory Consultancy - Electricity Sector. The Utility Regulator may require specialist technical advice on the electricity sector including, but not limited to: Electricity industry transmission and distribution price controls; The development of energy storage including battery storage Electricity generation; Electricity transmission; and Electricity distribution. * Lot 3: Specialist Technical Advice and Regulatory Consultancy - Water Sector. This value reflects the potential scale of the contract and takes into account potential optional extension periods and the uptake of potential optional services as detailed in the tender documents. Neither CPD nor the contracting Authority can provide any guarantee as to the level of business under this contract. The Contracting Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
