Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Defence is planning support for specialist equipment used in a marine environment, including mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, as well as diving and atmosphere-monitoring equipment. Planning Information

The Submarine Delivery Group (SDG) has a requirement to provide support to a submarine capability. Consequently, the Authority seeks to assess the commercial market’s capacity and capability to deliver this future requirement. The Authority is particularly interested in understanding potential delivery models and barriers to participation. This process will enable the Authority to better understand the marketplace and may assist in shaping the future procurement strategy, commercial approach and scope of the requirement. Any work undertaken in responding to this request is at the responding organisation’s own risk and expense. The market engagement activity does not constitute a commitment by the Authority to commence a procurement, award a contract or place an order in the future.
