Notice Description
Carmarthenshire County Council requires suitably qualified and accredited contractors to undertake servicing (and any remedial works) of electrical equipment installations across its commercial (i.e. non-housing) property portfolio, focussed specifically on: * Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) * Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) * Emergency Lighting * EV Charging * Solar PV/Battery Storage/Cleaning * Surge Protection Devices * Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) * Lightning Protection * Annual Inspections/Routine Checks * HV (High Voltage) Transformers * LV (Low Voltage) Panels * Generators
Planning Information
The Council is seeking feedback in relation to the proposed arrangement and invites interested suppliers to attend a Pre-Tender Market Engagement Event on Tuesday 29th September 2026 at 10:00am at Canolfan Pentre, Llanelli. This event will provide prospective contractors with an opportunity to gain an early understanding of the Council’s requirements, the proposed lotting structure, as well as the anticipated procurement and tendering process. Council officers will present an overview of the proposed arrangement and will be available to answer questions relating to the services / works required and forthcoming tender opportunity. Representatives from Business Wales will also be in attendance to provide information on the support and services available to businesses, including guidance on tendering for public sector contracts.
