Network Rail Infrastructure Limited intends to procure an end-to-end virtual accessibility tours service for a baseline portfolio of 250 designated railway stations across Great Britain. The current assumption is that the contract would be awarded in early February 2027, with an initial 100 station tours delivered, accepted and operational by June 2027 and the remaining 150 by October 2027. The planned contract period runs from 5 February 2027 to 4 February 2032. The procurement is arranged as one lot.

The work is likely to suit suppliers able to manage a multi-disciplinary digital accessibility programme at railway-station scale, either directly or through a coordinated delivery team. Relevant capability includes surveying live transport sites, LiDAR capture, panoramic and specialist photography, digital mapping, interactive virtual-tour production, accessible user-interface and content design, data processing, software implementation and platform support. Suppliers should be prepared to provide testing and accessibility assurance, publish and maintain digital assets, train Network Rail users, update station content and carry out future re-scanning. The programme will require capacity to sequence work across 250 stations and deliver an initial tranche of 100 tours followed by 150 more.
