Bromford Flagship LiveWest Limited is considering a contractor to service, maintain and repair play equipment and associated assets across its housing portfolio. Suppliers should also be able to repair and maintain wet-pour, rubber mulch, grass matting and loose-fill surfacing, alongside fencing, gates, seating, bollards and signage. The buyer is looking for suitably qualified and experienced organisations able to keep play areas safe, compliant, operational and fit for use. Competitors should be prepared to work to relevant legislation, British Standards and industry best practice, and to provide asset-condition and compliance reporting with recommendations. SMEs and VCSEs are expressly considered suitable.

Bromford Flagship LiveWest are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the servicing, maintenance and remedial repair of play area equipment and associated assets across its housing portfolio. The successful contractors will provide a comprehensive service to ensure that play areas remain safe, compliant, operational and fit for use in accordance with relevant legislation, British Standards and industry best practice. The contract may include, but is not limited to: Routine servicing and maintenance of play equipment Emergency make-safe works Reactive and planned remedial repairs Replacement of equipment components Safety surfacing repairs and maintenance Fencing and gate repairs Signage replacement Asset condition reporting Compliance reporting and recommendations Play equipment may include: Swings Slides Multi-play units Climbing frames Springers Roundabouts Seesaws Inclusive play equipment Outdoor fitness equipment Associated assets may include: Wet-pour surfaces Rubber mulch Grass matting Loose-fill surfacing Fencing and gates Seating Bollards Play area signage

Planning Information

This is currently an initial market enquiry to determine whether there are organisations capable of providing a comprehensive play equipment repair and remedial works service. The scope is expected to include the inspection, repair, replacement, refurbishment, and maintenance of indoor and outdoor play equipment and associated safety surfacing, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
