CVL Minor Works Civils and SISS - TAM A Phase 1 Construction
Notice Description
Transport for Wales (TfW) exists to drive forward the Welsh Government's vision of a high quality, safe, integrated, affordable and accessible transport network that the people of Wales are proud of. Transport for Wales is key to delivering the Welsh Government's key themes as set out in Prosperity for All: The National Strategy.A major element of this vision, TfW are investing in a transformational programme of station projects across the Wales and Borders network.The CVL Transformation programme will deliver commitments to upgrade all stations that form the CVL network, to develop a wider metro style service throughout South Wales. As part of this project, the CVL Minor Works scope will deliver telecoms, security and built environment to each station in time for the introduction of the new rolling stock.The proposal across CVL Minor Works Phase 1 stations predominately consist of installation/replacement/upgrade of existing CCTV system and equipment on station platforms/lease area to meet Network Rail standards. There are also upgrade works to PHP's and CIS's screens along with minor Civils works that include installation of new bike hoops.
