Annual Contract Value: PS117,030.00Term of Contract: 3 Years with option to extend a further 2 years.Wrexham County Borough Council are looking for applications from third sector providers:Wrexham County Borough Council wish to commission a suitable organisation to be awarded a contract for the provision of a work opportunities service for adults with learning or physical disabilities who have been assessed as requiring formal care and support to meet their outcomes.Wrexham County Borough Council operated a supported work opportunities service some years ago and we had a number of internal business that allowed us to deliver the service internally, we no longer have these small businesses.The Service aims to develop a work opportunity provision offer that will enable those citizens of Wrexham who have a learning or physical disability or both to access meaningful work opportunities that are where possible commensurate with their aspirations.The aim of this project is to identify a provider that is able to develop the market, networking and placements arrangements. To support adults with physical and learning disabilities who wish to undertake meaningful Work Opportunities including volunteering. In addition, upskilling, additional learning and college support may also be required to develop the skills necessary to ensure the outcomes achieved are within the individual's goals and aspirations for their employment journey.Please ensure you refrain from going over the word count, anything over the count will not be considered in the evaluation process.
