Summary of the contracting process

The Common Services Agency, also known as NHS National Services Scotland, is undertaking a procurement process for the "Automatic Dispatcherless Porter Task Tracking System." This project falls under the healthcare industry category and is set in Scotland. The procurement method is a selective restricted procedure, and it is currently in the award stage. The tender was originally issued on 22 December 2016, with the deadline for submissions on 26 January 2017. This contract aims to establish a single-supplier framework available for all Health Boards and associated organisations, with a projected value of £2,000,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses providing healthcare software solutions, particularly those that specialise in system implementation and management in a healthcare context. Companies with proven experience in delivering similar services, as well as those capable of offering training and ongoing support, would be well-positioned to compete. Given the contract duration of seven years, this represents a long-term relationship potential, allowing successful bidders to establish and grow their presence within the NHS procurement landscape.
