Workwear and PPE
Notice Description
The Forestry Commission requires a contract or framework for the provision of work wear and personal protective clothing for its staff. By April 2019 forestry will be devolved in Scotland and two new executive agencies with new branding will be created. Forestry and Land Scotland (formally Forest Enterprise Scotland agency of Forestry Commission) and Scottish Forestry (formally Forestry Commission Scotland). The next executive agencies required a contract or Framework for the purpose of purchasing workwear and Personal Protective Clothing to be worn by staff during working hours. This PIN notices is to engage the market and gather information to inform the procurement process and Specification(s).
Lot Information
PPE
Selection of personal protective equipment for staff. Staff roles range from wildlife rangers to work with chainsaws and customer service. PPE must meet required industry standards, be fit for purpose, comfortable and of quality.. We are currently investigating the branding potential of PPE and invite the market to provide feedback on this.
WorkwearWork wear for staff with a range of duties. May include products such as branded polo shirts, fleeces, gilets and a range of weather/ waterproof clothing including jackets and trousers.. We are currently looking into the option of specific dyed pantone fabrics versus off the shelf products and are inviting the market to provide information on this.
