Summary of the contracting process

The Scottish Government is inviting tenders for the "Server and Infrastructure Maintenance" project, which is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 30th May 2019. This procurement process, valued at £5,000,000, is part of the public services sector and will be conducted via an open procurement method. The project aims to establish a single-supplier framework to maintain various server types and network infrastructure, and it is accessible to providers across the UK, particularly with delivery expected in the Glasgow region.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those that focus on server maintenance and network management. Companies that have experience with Local Area Network technologies, Storage Area Networks, and Uninterruptable Power Supplies will find themselves well-suited to participate. Moreover, this framework encourages sustainable economic growth in Scotland, so businesses that can also deliver community benefits in their proposals may have an advantage in the selection process.
