Domestic Smoke and Heat Detection Equipment Upgrade Works
Notice Description
The upgrading of smoke and heat detection equipment within properties owned by the Associations. Works require to be completed no later than Friday 12th February 2021 to ensure that the Associations' have complied with recently updated legislation.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Works will involve the upgrade of the Associations' Smoke and Heat Detection systems within all properties. The extent of work within each property is estimated within the tender documents but it will be for the appointed Contractor to decide on the full extent of works required on first attendance. The Association does not intend for the appointed Contractor to carry out a pre-installation survey. The expectation is that all works will be completed in a single visit. Contractors are therefore required to ensure they have sufficient stock on a daily basis to complete all works to all properties programmed for each day. The upgrade of this equipment within the Associations properties requires to be completed no later than 12th February 2021 to allow the Association to comply with recently updated legislation.
