    "description": "The Framework Agreement would consist of the following Lots: Lot 1 - Project Management Services Lot 2 - Architecture Services and Principal Designer Lot 3 - Quantity Surveying/Cost Consultancy Services Lot 4 - MEP Services (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Lot 5 - Civil & Structural Engineering Services Lot 6 - Building Surveyors Lot 7 - Space Planning Services Lot 8 - Clerk of Works It is currently envisaged that there will be 3-4 Contractors awarded on each Lot. These Consultants will support the delivery of projects and programmes through the provision of professional services either directly or as a multi-discipline project team drawn from the other Lots on the Framework for an undefined programme of construction, alteration, repair and maintenance works. Please also note that the Invitation to Tender (ITT) will be subject to a separate contract notice on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), and it is that notice which potential applicants will need to respond to at the appropriate time when it is published. Interested bidders should please note that full details of the Framework Agreement requirements will be provided in the Tender documentation when it is published and are not currently available at this stage. As part of the Prior Information Notice, Information is being sought from service providers of Professional Estates Services to identify their note of interest and ability to provide the Services against the specific Lots detailed above. Both Universities would actively welcome notes of interest from any SME's, supported business, social enterprises and SME's who are able to provide the Services under any of the various Lots. In addition, please note that the University is holding a Market Engagement Day for any service provider on 21/11/19 at the Edinburgh Business School, HWU. The Market Engagement Day will consist of two sessions' morning and afternoon. Both sessions will be of the same content and format but have been split into two sessions in order to accommodate the expected interest in the Market Engagement Day. The intention of the Market Engagement Day is to provide service providers with an overview of both the Universities requirements and the objectives of the tendering exercise. There will also be the opportunity for a question and answer session at the Market Engagement Day. In addition to this question and answer session we appreciate that some service providers may wish to ask questions separately and out-with the session and to accommodate this we have allocated a 5 day period after the Market Engagement Day in order to facilitate any feedback/questions that service providers may wish to issue directly regarding their views on the Tender exercise as well as any questions service providers may have that have arisen from both the Supplier Day and this Prior Information Note. We would request that interested bidders limit their number of attendees to the Market Engagement Day to no more than 2 attendees. Those service providers wishing to attend the Market Engagement Day on 21/11/19 should please complete Google Forms at https://forms.gle/YM4LRE1TAYuxZ3iP8 detailing your preference: AM or PM session.
