Notice Description
North Ayrshire Council requires a contractor to undertake water quality management services within non-domestic properties within North Ayrshire. This includes: regimes for temperature testing (outlet monitoring) and cleaning and disinfection; tank inspections; servicing of thermostatic mixing valves and risk assessments (including reviews of existing). The successful contractor will be required to undertake the monitoring and inspection of the hot and cold-water services to all sites listed in the Property & Asset Schedule. The contractor will also be be required to carry out the annual, quarterly and monthly tasks as laid out within the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance L8 HSG274 "Legionnaires Disease" Part 2: The control of legionella bacteria in hot and cold water systems (hereinafter L8).
