Tenderers are asked to put forward their most sustainable solutions for the packaging. This is given without commitment and is only to be used as an indication of potential volumes for the purpose of tendering. The products are being split into the following Lots - Lot 1 - Long life/ recyclable carrier bags Lot 2 - Paper bags Lot 3 - Carriers/packaging for mugs/bottles and other fragile products, primarily for online orders and sundries such as tape, padded bags and tissue paper. There will be a requirement for various types and sizes of suitable durable carrier bags to be customised with HESE logos. Information regarding reuse, recycle and sustainability of the products should also appear clearly on the bags and packaging so that both HESE and consumers can understand particularly around recycling of the product. Wherever possible, HESE require products that are fully recyclable through well-established waste streams that are easily accessible to the end user",
