The project is looking to identify and implement a real-time alert solution that enables teachers to discreetly and immediately request assistance from designated staff without leaving the classroom. The need for the project was highlighted through a recent audit, which identified gaps in current communication arrangements and the risks associated with delayed responses. The proposed solution will improve staff safety, support effective classroom management, and help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for both staff and pupils. The project may also contribute towards meeting future legislative requirements, including those associated with Martyn's Law.

The project is looking to identify and implement a real-time alert solution that enables teachers to discreetly and immediately request assistance from designated staff without leaving the classroom. The need for the project was highlighted through a recent audit, which identified gaps in current communication arrangements and the risks associated with delayed responses. The system must allow teachers to request immediate assistance in real time from relevant staff. E REQ002 Ability to be used in numerous locations A teacher must be able to activate the alert without leaving classroom. E REQ003 Ability to be location specific The system must be able to identify the classroom/location where assistance is required. E REQ004 Ability to be used in multiple locations. The system should support multiple classrooms operating simultaneously. D REQ006 Ability to adapt The solution should be scalable to support future expansion. D REQ007 Easy to use The solution must have the ability to cancel a false activation. E REQ008 Monitoring The solution should have the ability to be activated internally by school staff members, and by external Education Staff members.
