Independent Travel Training
Description: Procurement for the provision of Independent Travel Training Services, designed to empower children, young people, and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to travel independently and safely. The service underpins the council's commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and improved quality of life for some of our most vulnerable residents. It is proposed that the new contract will be for an initial period of five years, commencing in September 2026, with the option to extend for a further two years, subject to satisfactory performance and the continued availability of funding.
