Description: Dover District Council wishes wishes to select and appoint a suitable provider for the provision of 6 (six) experienced Portal Official Veterinarians (OV) to undertake border controls and biosecurity checks on products of animal origin at the Port of Dover with the potential to increase this provision should the service expand to other Ports which fall under our jurisdiction The Contract is anticipated to commence 1st April 2026 and will continue for a period of 12 months and may be extended for a further two periods of 12 months subject to the satisfactory performance of the Contract by the Contractor and at the Council's entire discretion.
