The college serves approximately 10,000 learners across the West Midlands helping them to achieve their learning objectives and secure employment. BMet works to meet the skill needs of residents and local employers and is looking for an organisation to help it provide specialist support to mothers seeking to enter or return to the work place. To enhance opportunities available to learners and fill gaps in its expert provision BMet is looking to appoint an organisation able to: • provide high quality personalised support, advice and guidance to Mum's who are potential learners from a variety of challenging backgrounds; • find placements for learners to help equip them to return to the work place; and • help access employment opportunities or further training opportunities. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (CSU), on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board (BSol ICB), is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Complex Dementia Discharge to Assess (D2A) Beds for patients that present with dementia and behaviours that challenge. Where this cohort of patients no longer require an acute hospital bed and have been identified as unsafe to return home immediately (even with services), these Complex Dementia D2A beds will enable citizens to receive ongoing care and/or rehabilitation for up to six weeks. During this time, health and social care assessments can take place in an appropriate setting, at the right time for the patient. Additionally, these beds will also support step-up from the community where admission into an acute setting can be avoided.

Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint an organisation for the supply of single operated vehicle containers (single ops containers). The contract will commence on 18 08 2025 and will be in place for a period of 12 months Birmingham City Council’s commercial waste service currently operates a range of specialised waste collection services that is classed as “Single Ops” (Single Operated Vehicles), these are large vehicles that have the capacity to collect large amounts of waste. The single ops containers include: Front End Loader Containers (FEL), Hooklift (Roll on – Roll Off) Containers, Hooklift Compactors, enclosed skips and open skips. At present Birmingham City Council is in the process of replacing much of its existing stock of Single Ops containers and requires a supplier to provide these new Single Ops Containers. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
