This notice advises that the Authority has decided to negotiate a contract with the named supplier on a single source basis, and is published for reasons of transparency. If you are interested in becoming a sub-contractor for this requirement, you should apply directly to the supplier named below. The Ministry of Defence (the Authority), intends to award a contract to Supacat Limited for the provision of The Repair of Various Jackal Assemblies and Associated Items for a period of 5 years with the option of a further 2 years. The estimated total contract value is not to exceed £1,526,000. In accordance with regulation 4 of the Defence and Security Public Contracts (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/697) this procurement falls to be regulated under the provisions of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 as amended (in particular by SI 2019/697 and SI2020/1450). It is considered that the award of the contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the UK e-notification service (as required by the relevant legislation) is lawful in accordance with Regulation16(1)(a)(ii) of the DSPCR 2011 for technical reasons. Supacat Limited are the proprietary owners of the technical documentation for these assemblies and such work cannot be undertaken without access to the proprietary design information. The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will provide a list of potential providers considered capable of carrying out major works to a satisfactory standard valued up to £120,000,000 (although some projects may exceed this value). It will not include routine planned maintenance which is covered by the measured term contract and is procured separately. The scheme will run from mid June 2023 to complete by March 2025 The 1:1 consultancy support will be fully funded to participating SME businesses and will aim to support businesses with the delivery of their aspirations through practical support. In accordance with regulation 4 of the Defence and Security Public Contracts (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/697) this procurement falls to be regulated under the provisions of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 as amended (in particular by SI 2019/697 and SI2020/1450).
