IT Asset Lifecycle Management System
Notice Description
1551/316/SW/IT/16 IT Asset Lifecycle Management System The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of an IT Asset Lifecycle Management System for use within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: The AMRC is seeking a solution to manage all Windows endpoints (laptops, desktop PCs) and, if possible, Apple Mac OSX based devices. The intention is to upgrade all Windows endpoints to Windows 10 using a volume licence provided by The University of Sheffield and improve security at the edge of the IT estate including removal of all local administrator rights on endpoints. It is also the intention to provide a faster way of provisioning new equipment to staff, faster distribution of new versions of software and provide a faster way of provisioning equipment returned to the IT department. Tender Process and Documentation: This is a non-E.U. open exercise. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend System, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system. Closing date for receipt of tenders: 18th of January 2017 at 12 noon (UK time).
