Summary of the contracting process

The Herefordshire Council is initiating a procurement process for Property Services, identified as a Prior Information Notice. The process is currently in the planning stage, with engagement activities set to conclude by 25 August 2018. The Council plans to issue a Contract Notice in late 2018 for a strategic partnership lasting up to eight years, commencing in September 2019. Interested organisations are encouraged to participate in a consultation to share their insights on service delivery models, with a deadline for questionnaire submissions set for 11 June 2018. Meetings to discuss responses may occur the week commencing 18 June 2018.

This procurement represents a significant opportunity for companies specialising in repair and maintenance services, real estate, and associated fields such as catering, courier, and cleaning services. Businesses with experience in delivering property management solutions may find the Council's invitation to consult particularly advantageous, as it paves the way for potential partnerships and long-term contracts. Engaging with the Council now could enhance the chances of being included in the upcoming formal tendering process.
