On Street Electric Vehicle Charging Points
Notice Description
Hampshire County Council is currently planning for future on-street electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This is likely to be delivered under a concession contract on a 15+1 year basis, and potentially supported by approximately PS6.6m funding from the Local Electrical Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) grant. Coverage across Hampshire is anticipated to require approximately 55,021 Standard charging units, 4,206 fast charging units, 1,700 rapid charging units, 590 ultra-rapid charging units by 2040, as forecast by the NEVIS toolkit. Therefore this infrastructure delivery will be achieved through the LEVI grant fund and private investment. To assist the County Council with planning this infrastructure delivery, we are seeking responses from suppliers to build on our understanding of this market. We would therefore be grateful if you could take the time to complete and return our questionnaire to the County Council by 12 noon on 22 April 2024. Please ensure you have registered on our e-tendering Portal In-Tend (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/aspx), in order to be able to access and return our questionnaire. Once registered, please search for the project ref UN23287 (or follow this direct link to the market engagement opportunity https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/aspx/ProjectManage/23287 ) and Express Interest in the project. You will then be able to view the market engagement documents and submit your feedback by using the Correspondence function for this project. Registration will assist you as the County Council shall also be publishing all tender documents and any correspondence will be through this. We anticipate publishing the tender in Autumn 2024, with a Contract Award and Start Date in Spring 2025. Additional information: We would be grateful if you could take the time to complete and return our questionnaire to the County Council by 12 noon on 22 April 2024.
