Notice Description
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (The Contracting Authority) has appointed suitably qualified and experienced contractors to the framework agreement for Highway Maintenance as detailed in the Contract documents and upon the terms and conditions contained in the Conditions of Contract.
Lot Information
Patching & mason work
The hire of general highway civils team, which can include concreting, laying kerbs, drainage, paving, resurfacing, and to be an asset to the Highway Services team.
Renewal: extension of up to a further 12 months
Highway resurfacing surface preparation labourThe hire of road preparation team to work in conjunction with asphalt planer, works will consist of kerbing adjusting ironwork, laying of asphalt and preparing site for asphalt paver team works to comply with standard specification of highway & levels agreed with site engineer.
Renewal: optional extension of up to 12 months
Highway resurfacing plant & labourThe hire of road surfacing team to work in conjunction with asphalt paver, surfacing team, tools and transport to also be included in price, material to be laid in accordance with the requirements of BS 594987 and associated codes of practice. The hire of an Asphalt Paver with Screwman and Driver including ancillary surfacing equipment.

Traffic ManagementThe provision of traffic management services on sites under the scheme.
