This is award of a contract to ADT Fire & Security Plc for the provision of additional equipment and alterations to the closed protocol access control system at the Council House.

Derby City Council currently has this system in place and does not look to replace it at this time. The contract allows support and maintenance. A change of system at the current time would have a major impact on Council activity and cause unnecessary budget pressure. Opportunities for an open protocol system as a replacement are to be explored in the future.
