TC10 - Southend Pier Track and Signalling Maintenance
Notice Description
Southend on Sea Borough Council is seeking to engage experienced and appropriately qualified companies for a repair and maintenance service to the track and signalling for the heritage narrow gauge railway on Southend Pier. The term of this contract is 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years and the requirements include 2 visits per annum for each discipline (Track and Signalling) and routine maintenance and replacements. The contract will also include an element of responsive repairs where the contractor will be asked to attend within a specified time frame should faults be identified.

Southend Borough Council is seeking a single supplier for this contract.
Renewal: The initial contract is for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 24 months. Prior to the final contract end date (31/03/2027) we will publish a new tender for the requirement.
