Notice Title
432254 Strategic Resource Options (SRO) Market Engagement
Notice Description
Meeting the water resource supply-demand balance to ensure resilient supplies during droughts is becoming ever more challenging with increasing pressures from climate change, population growth, societal expectations and increasing environmental aspirations. In response, OFWAT have established the Regulatory Alliance for Progressing Infrastructure Development (RAPID) an alliance of three water industry regulators: Ofwat, the Environment Agency and Drinking Water Inspectorate - to support and oversee the development of Strategic Resource Options to secure long-term resilience on behalf of customers while protecting the environment and benefiting wider society. These are intended to be construction ready between 2025-2030.' This Market Engagement is to help inform options for potential supply chain set up of services required to support strategic regional options currently being considered by Thames Water and partner water companies. Please see Section VI.3 Additional Information for access to the supplier information pack and process for submitting your responses through IASTA Smartsource.
