Notice Description
Swale Borough Council invited tenders for Parking Payment Terminal Replacement. The contract involves the supply and maintenance of 38 Parking Payment Terminals in Swale at sites designated in the specification. The contract commenced on 11th April 2022 and will terminate on 10th April 2029. The council may extend the opportunity on an annual basis via mutual written agreement thereafter up to a maximum of 7 years. This is due to the successful supplier being the only company able to service their own machines, and the machines themselves having an undefined lifecycle (between 7-15 years, dependent on modular components, software and market developments).

Options: Tenderers had the option to bid for all costs associated with the electrical upgrade works required to provide mains supply to units designated in Appendix C, Section 8.
Renewal: The council may extend the opportunity on an annual basis for repair and maintenance via mutual written agreement thereafter up to a maximum of 7 years. This is due to the successful supplier being the only company able to service their own machines, and the machines themselves having an undefined lifecycle (between 7-15 years, dependent on modular components, software and market developments).
