Notice Information
Notice Title
Media Wall for Mental Health Seclusion Units
Notice Description
Devices designed for crisis intervention and seclusion situations. The ideal solution would be a wall-integrated device, flush and free of ligature points. We are interested in interactive walls with multiple applications, controlled by staff members to cater to the unique needs of patients in crisis.
The desired applications include drawing, TV, radio, games, relaxing images, videophone for incoming calls from ward phones, and an appointment book for creating patient timetables. Additionally, we are looking for the capability to manually upload documents, pictures, and music from a central computer, allowing patients access to essential legal documents, such as tribunal papers, during seclusion.
We are keen on solutions that enable staff to engage patients through interactive games and provide the flexibility to add or remove applications based on individual patient requirements. Safety is a priority, and we are particularly interested in devices with observed shatterproof features.
