Procurement Information
The maintenance and support contract for our gatelines has been awarded to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) because they contain proprietary technology and software. Due to the unique nature of these assets, only the OEM possesses the technical expertise and resources required to ensure their optimal performance. The gatelines incorporate proprietary technology specifically designed for their intended application. This technology is not available from other suppliers, making the OEM the only provider capable of delivering maintenance and support services effectively. The gatelines also rely on proprietary software that is integral to their operation. This software controls system performance and includes diagnostic capabilities essential for troubleshooting and repairs. The OEM has exclusive access to technical manuals, updates, support tools, and parts that are not available to third party service providers. This access is critical for effective maintenance and support activities. Engaging the OEM reduces the risk of improper maintenance that could lead to equipment failure, safety hazards, or operational downtime. The OEM's familiarity with the equipment ensures that all maintenance and support procedures follow the manufacturer's standards.
