Gloucestershire County Council is procuring a framework for statutory servicing, reactive repairs and remedial works across its estate and participating public-sector organisations in Gloucestershire. The requirement is divided into 22 specialist lots covering lifts; lightning protection; ventilation and air conditioning; automatic doors, gates, barriers and roller shutters; building management systems; boilers, plumbing and controls; fixed wiring and electrical response; portable appliance testing; fire alarms, emergency lighting and fire-prevention equipment; access controls, CCTV and intruder alarms; small building works; commercial kitchen equipment and ovens; air-source heat pumps; photovoltaic panels; generators; gas detection; mansafe systems; local exhaust ventilation; and water hygiene. The framework is intended for use by district and borough councils, schools, academies and NHS trusts in the area. It covers both planned statutory servicing and responsive repair activity.

Contractors with established response arrangements, competent technical teams, suitable testing and repair equipment, and the capacity to service public buildings across Gloucestershire will be well placed. The lot structure allows businesses to focus on a defined technical discipline rather than provide every service. Most lots are identified as suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. Suppliers should be able to price work through SFG20-aligned schedules of rates and support both direct call-offs and competitions reopened under the framework.
