Transport for London (TfL) is publishing this notice in order to generate an OCID for the existing iBus Agreement, which, due to technical constraints with the Find a Tender Service platform, cannot be obtained via another route.                     "rationale": "Extending the existing iBus contract with ebblo is essential to maintaining the stability, performance, and statutory integrity of Transport for London's Bus Services. Given the complexity of the iBus system and number of buses in service in London, it is not viable for TfL or LBSL to bring in a different contractor on a short/medium-term basis in a way that safeguards the continued operation of LBSL's iBus (and wider bus) services, pending completion of the iBus2 procurement. Any attempt to introduce an interim supplier between the current contract and the new iBus2 Solution will result in disproportionate technical difficulty and inconvenience to TfL for no additional value, while also producing substantial duplication of costs (as well as potential revenue losses) due to contract timelines, mobilisation complexity, supply chain constraints, TUPE considerations, and the extensive testing and assurance required for a new solution The maturity, stability, and performance of the current iBus Systems and associated infrastructure, means a short term extension of the existing iBus contract is the only practical approach to bridge the gap before the already contracted new solution can be transitioned and operational, fully replacing the existing service. The extension encompasses a continuation of existing Maintenance and Support Service, though with some adjustments to the level of resources required to support a legacy solution and increased bus numbers. It is operationally and commercially impossible for any new service provider to implement a fully assured, stable solution within the required time. The supplier entity for this contract is ebblo Switzerland GmBH. This UK10 notice has been submitted for ebblo UK as this is the only ebblo entity that is available in Find a Tender.",
