This Invitation to Tender (ITT) has been issued by Bron Afon Community Housing (Bron Afon) as a single-stage procurement for Design and Install 3 Sprinkler Systems.The original tender was published via sell2Wales on 11th September 2023. However, Bron Afon were unable to appoint a successful Tenderer. Since then, floor plans for each building has been obtained and Bron Afon has adjusted the contract start date and re-published this opportunity to ensure a fair and transparent process has been undertaken.The scope of this tender is to review proposals for the design and installation of three sprinkler systems located in:1-7 Maybury House, Greenmeadow, Cwmbran, Torfaen, NP44 4SN1-17 Church Close, New Inn, Pontypool, Torfaen, NP44 0PE1-23 Riverside Court, Riverside, Pontypool, Torfaen, NP4 6GABron Afon is looking to commence this contract in either December 2023 or January 2024. The actual contract start date will be agreed during the pre-contract meeting.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=136026.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:Bron Afon is committed to delivering 'Community Benefits' from its procurement activities.Community benefits covers a wide range of activities and asks its providers to understand and deliver the activities which creates the most value to our communities, these can include:* Creating and maximising local opportunities within Torfaen.* Training and recruitment opportunities for the long term economically inactive (long term economically inactive means those not been in paid employment in the last 3 months immediately prior to the date of this invitation).* Volunteering days.* Landscaping/Building Services support to regenerate for communal areas.* Support for local youth groups and other community groups.* Sponsoring of mini sporting tournament or event.* Community newsletters advising on impact of service delivery.* Contributions to education such as work placements for secondary-school children and college students, landscaping/building services support to regenerate for school playgrounds.* Utilise local supply chains.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
