Notice Description

The Mid Wales Challenge Led Launchpad is a programme to support the development and growth of local businesses funded by the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund, driven by Levelling Up. This programme is delivered by AberInnovation and Innovation Strategy in collaboration with Ceredigion County Council, Hywel Dda University Health Board, the Mid Wales Regional Skills Partnership and British Telecom.The Mid Wales Challenge Led Launch Pad Series is inviting projects to develop innovative solutions which can support rural health and wellbeing throughout Ceredigion. We are seeking expressions of interest from private, public and third sectors organisations to tender for R&D contracts to develop and prototype their new products and services. The development contracts awarded will be valued up to PS1,000 (inc. VAT) for solutions at Technical Readiness Levels 1 to 2 and PS15,000 (inc. VAT) for solutions at Technical Readiness Levels 3 to 4.The Mid Wales Challenge Led Launch Pad Series is a programme aimed at developing novel solutions to public sector and societal issues through research and innovation whilst offering new market opportunities for businesses and people in Mid Wales. Challenge Led Launch Pads are open to all organisations that can demonstrate a route to market for their solution. Projects are 100% funded to participate in research and development, focused on specific identified needs.A briefing event for organisations interested in finding out more about the challenge will be held virtually on 20th November at 2pm. The event will provide further detail about the Mid Wales Challenge Led Launch Pad Series and this specific challenge.
