Glasgow Life invites tender bids from suitably experienced contractors to develop a business partnership in the designing, planning, supplying and installation of gym and fitness equipment that will help us develop and create a "progressive gym concept".
Lot Information
Plate Loaded, Free Weights and Lifting Platforms
This lot will consist of Dumbbells, Barbells Olympic and pre-loaded, a selection of metal, rubber and Olympic discs as well as half racks, plate loaded and lifting platforms. We are looking to establish a range of suppliers to ensure best quality, price and performance of the equipment. The contract will consist of supply, maintenance, and repairs services for these items of equipment.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: 3 year Framework Agreement with an option to extend up to 12 months.
Group CyclingGlasgow Life intends to purchase from a single supplier indoor group cycling bikes that are adjustable, comfortable, easy to maintain, have the ability to track, measure and challenge our members in a truly unique cycling experience. The supplier is also required to deliver maintenance service and repairs.. Gym Fitness FlooringGlasgow Life are looking to appoint a panel of suppliers who are able to assess, recommend, provide install and repair a range of specialized fitness flooring for our free weight, fixed resistance,functional fitness areas within our gyms and studio spaces. We are looking for successful suppliers to carry out pre-design inspection and assessment of flooring requirements, sub-floor preparation guidance and preparation, supply of agreed type of flooring and installation.. Cardiovascular, Fixed Strengh Resistance and Cable Based Machines EquipmentThis lot will consist of a selection of key items and should be compliant to Inclusive Fitness Initiative guidelines including: Cardiovascular Treadmill, Cross Trainer, Upright Cycle, Recline Cycle, Hand Cycle and the opportunity to include alternative CV items. Fixed Strength Resistance Leg Press, Leg Curl, Leg Extension, Chest Press, Shoulder Press, Low Row, Lat Pull down as our standard package with the flexibility to add additional items. Cable Based Machines We are looking for a range of machines that offer extensive flexibility and opportunity to for our members to use a range of cable based machines that allows for the maximum overall body training experience. We are looking for the equipment in this lot to have connectivity and the ability to record and provide data analysis. Glasgow Life intend to engage a single supplier to carry out equipment installation, maintenance and support in the scope of design, gym layout, CAD designs and images.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Digital TechnologyGlasgow Life are looking to engage a panel of suppliers to be able to assist in the development and delivery of IT solutions to provide our members with the ability to measure their performance both in and out with the gym, as well as assisting us in maximizing and analyzing data in tracking member usage and developing activities and programmes to assist us in member retention. The contract will consist of supply, maintenance and repairs services for these items of equipment..
