The Common Services Agency, more commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) is letting a Framework on behalf of Health Boards in Scotland, The Scottish Fire & Rescue service and Ambulance Trusts in England, Wales and Northern Ireland for a Managed Telematic service for vehicles.

Lot 1
National Services Scotland is letting a single Supplier framework contract for a Managed Telematics Service with an initial period of 4 years where Call Offs by Authorities can be made. Those Call Offs may be for a period longer than 4 years. Participating Authorites are; a) any entity in Scotland constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, (b) any Integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014; (c) Scottish Fire & Rescue Service; and (d) any body based in England, Wales or Northern Ireland named in Section 17A of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 and all NHS Foundation Trusts; The in-vehicle Telematics Software should record driver and vehicle specific data that can be used to help identify and evaluate service improvements such as reducing road risk, identifying driver training requirements, improving vehicle efficiency and performance and improving vehicle utilisation. The Software should enable managers to monitor, control and manage the fleet and drivers/crews.
