Slabbing, Tarring and Groundworks Framework
Notice Description
East Lothian Council (the Council) is inviting bids from suitably qualified, competent, capable and experienced contractors who wish to be a preferred contractor on a framework agreement of around 4 Nr* contractors to carry out the Term Maintenance Contract for Slabbing and Tarmacadam Works To Council Properties. (*anticipated number- The Council reserves the right to be flexible about the number of Contractors on the final Framework). The Framework Agreement will cover a 2-year period from date of acceptance with option to extend for 2 x 1 year periods (2+1+1). The framework is expected to start around April 2021. Whilst there is no guarantee as to the volume of business, if any at all, that any provider may receive by virtue of inclusion on the Framework Agreement, the anticipated budget for this work will be in the region of GBP-350,000 per annum. Please note that there is a requirement to provide Community Benefits as part of the delivery of this contract. Further details can be found within this tender package.
