The Community Dental Services is a specialised service that provides dental treatment to children and adults, who because of additional needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities or vulnerability, are unable to access general dental care. The current dental management system was installed in 2014 and became unsupported from March 2024, requiring the delivery of a new solution that supports our strategic priorities.

The Authority also has an optional requirement for Maxillo Facial/Orthodontic module, that we may wish to procure during the life of the contract at the price quoted in the commercial schedule.

Aims of the Service and Tender The key aims of the tender are to: ▪ Provide a high standard of cleaning and caretaking ▪ Deliver the cleaning and caretaking services with consistency - good quality assurance systems in place. ▪ Good communication at local and operations manager level with the School - two-way communication. ▪ Daily interaction with the School representative at each site ▪ Develop an effective method of handing over any special needs and comments on a daily basis. ▪ Cleaners to work the hours that best suit the needs of the School and maximise the work completed. ▪ Training and development of the teams at the School This does not imply that this is not happening now - these are the aims of the contract. Red Kite Learning Trust are working with Pagabo to look to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for Academy Services for Academy Trusts in England. The DPS Agreement will cover projects including, but is not limited to, legal services, internal and external audit services, DPO services, HR and payroll solutions, etc. The procurement will be a single stage process following the Public Contract Regulations 2015 open procedure. The DPS agreement will be established and coincide with the recently awarded framework for Academy Services and will be coterminous in May 2026.
