Plymouth City Council ("The Council") is currently working on a major project for the implementation of a mandatory weekly food waste service to all Plymouth households by 1 April 2026. The project is a legislatively driven initiative in accordance with section S45A of the Environment Act 1990, brought into legislation by the Environment Act 2021. As part of this requirement, there will be a need for Transportation, and Treatment of Municipal Food Waste by Anaerobic Digestion (AD). For that reason, the Council is seeking to engage with the market place, and understand the solutions that may be currently available in the market for these services. The Council is therefore conducting a soft market assessment to explore these elements and better understand business, technological and innovative solutions that are available. In addition, this will allow The Council to gauge the level of market interest, and on what terms solutions can be delivered. We're looking for a a preferred supplier to work with us over the length of the contract to advise as per the below with regards to Visual & audio equipment. • Providing advice and guidance for purchasing options linked to projection equipment including but not limited to: o Projection solutions across Real Ideas spaces including projectors for presentation, creative art-based projects and immersive experiences • Obtaining quotes and procurement of projection equipment on behalf of RIO • Managing installation of projection equipment across campus • Training RIO staff in use of new equipment • Supporting live events involving projection where required Major events • Production and technical management for projection solutions for major live events, including but not limited to: o Installation o Staffing o Kit hires o Content Production We're a positive, creative and innovative group of people at Real Ideas, so the look and feel of our buildings needs to reflect this.
