Hamble Parish Council would like to invite quotations to manufacture and install 'at least' 15 replacement interpretation panels in and around Hamble Village on both hard and soft ground. Around the village there are several interpretation (or information) boards. Many of these are aging, with faded script and pictures and others are damaged. Hamble Parish Council plans to upgrade these existing boards, to give them uniformity of appearance and to make them more accessible and DDA compliant with due consideration made to font size, font type, wording and layout. The artwork will be supplied print ready and design of artwork is not part of this tender, this is being done separately. The Parish Council wants to only receive tenders for the Manufacture and design. Although the Parish Council would value advice these are likely to be Twin legs in stainless steel powder coated and have A1 graphic panels that must be anti graffiti laminated or similar. Ordnance Survey Ltd (OS) is Great Britain’s mapping agency and is responsible for the surveying, production, maintenance and marketing of a wide range of geographic information, relied on by government, business and individuals. OS is a private limited company (company registration number 09121572), and the entire share capital is owned by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. The purpose of this procurement is to appoint an organisation “the Supplier” to deliver the Data Transformation and Ingestion (DT&I) Service component of the National Underground Asset Register (NUAR) Data Lifecycle. The NUAR Programme is a Government Digital Service (GDS) initiative to build a digital map of underground pipes and cables that will revolutionise the way the different sectors of the economy install, maintain, operate, and repair Great Britain’s buried infrastructure. Once operational, NUAR is envisaged to deliver £490 million per year of economic growth through increased efficiency, reduced asset strikes (when underground pipes and cables are accidentally damaged) and reduced disruptions for the public and businesses. The NUAR Programme delivers underground asset data to thousands of utility users through the Safe-Dig User Interface. This improves the efficiency and safety of underground works by providing secure access to privately and publicly owned location data about the pipes and cables beneath our feet. HM Coastguard (HMCG) helicopters and planes, provided under the UKSAR2G contract, have a primary role to provide search and rescue. However, they undertake a range of other missions in support of wider MCA objectives and those of other government departments. In addition the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) require an Aerial Surveillance service to provide near real time situational awareness in support of specialised SAR operations. Therefore the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is planning to undertake a procurement for this additional Aerial Surveillance service. HMCG will procure for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets that can supply the information required. This service will not require national coverage. Potentially, during a high-risk times, a Coastguard surveillance asset could be operating for a full 24-hour period extending into consecutive days and sometimes weeks [...]

The SEAS service will focus on delivering preventative and high-quality Information, Advice, Guidance and direct support to reduce demand on formal children's and adult's social care services. The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) intends to procure a contract for the refit, maintenance, and upgrade of the research vessels RRS Discovery and RRS James Cook. The estimated annual value of the contract is £1.5 million. The contract is essential to ensure both vessels remain fit for purpose, compliant with Classification Society and Flag State regulations, and capable of supporting world-class scientific operations. The proposed contract will be a fixed-period agreement with a single supplier for all refit works, maintenance, and upgrades required to maintain operational capability. Depending on the outcome of soft market testing and market feedback, NOC may extract the immediate Discovery refit window (March-April 2026) from the main contract and accelerate this element using the accelerated open procedure under section 20(2)(a) of the Procurement Act 2023, with time limits set proportionately in accordance with section 54 (Time limits). The remainder of the contract will be procured using the standard open procedure as set out in section 20(2)(a).
