Summary of the contracting process

The Luton and Dunstable University Hospital is conducting a public procurement process for the "Luton & Dunstable University Hospital CCTV & Access Control 2021" project, which falls under the security equipment industry category. This tender is part of a redevelopment programme at the hospital, and the tender period will conclude on 10 August 2021. The contract, valued at £1,000,000 and with a minimum value of £500,000, is scheduled to commence on 6 September 2021 and will last for one year, ending on 5 September 2022. This tender presents a significant opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) specialising in security systems and related services to expand their business. Companies engaged in security equipment manufacturing, surveillance systems installation, and related engineering works would be particularly well positioned to compete. Given the project's focus on creating a comprehensive security system across multiple sites, interested bidders should have experience in both design and implementation of advanced security solutions to meet the hospital's specifications effectively.
