Notice Description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) is seeking tenders, on behalf of Mansfield District Council (MDC), Mansfield District Council provide public space video surveillance services, for the primary purpose of community protection, together with cameras to provide security coverage of buildings and places in the district, and on behalf of 3rd party clients. The system consists of approximately 250+ cameras, audio streams to/from lift intercoms and street positioned emergency Safe Points. The control room layout consists of 3 workstations, 18 back wall monitors, a review suite and managers office computer link used for the purpose of auditing and analysis. The Windows programme versions are outdated, and the Video Management System requires updating to ensure that the most efficient, safe and secure options are updated. There is also a requirement to retain and facilitate the ability to share live camera feeds to Nottinghamshire police control room operators to maintain dynamic interoperability communications.
