ESN - Acquire, Design and Build Infrastructure Framework (ADB)
Notice Description
The ESN - Acquire, Design and Build Framework Agreement (ADB) Framework Agreement has been awarded to 5 (five) Suppliers and the Authority envisages that its requirements for products, works and services under the Framework Agreement will be satisfied through up to 5 further competitions which will be subject to change at the Authority's absolute discretion). On the basis of Further Competitions, the Suppliers are to be requested to provide from the following products, works and services in support of ESN within the UK: a) Acquiring Greenfield sites upon which to build passive infrastructure; b) Negotiating with Land owners for lease arrangements on behalf of the Authority, under specified parameters; c) Undertaking planning applications on behalf of the Authority; d) Designing passive infrastructure builds; e) Undertaking infrastructure builds including but not limited to radio and transmission bases, masts, cabins and cabinets; f) Managing power connectivity; g) Undertaking civil construction activity necessary for commissioning sites; h) Testing and re-mediation activity. This notice is for information purposes only. Additional information: The Authority intends to put in place contracts for use by ESN or other UK public sector bodies in England, Scotland, and Wales. However, use does not denote that there will be direct contractual relations between such public bodies and contractors appointed to provide the services. The services are primarily intended for use by the Police, Fire and Ambulance services in England, Scotland and Wales incl. all respective governing bodies, agencies and affiliates. The services shall also be available for use by all UK public sector bodies including, but not limited to all Ministerial departments, Devolved administrations, Non ministerial departments, Agencies, other public bodies and Local Authorities. In addition, a number of transport operators, utility operators, charitable bodies and other organisations that interact with public safety bodies may also be required to use the services.
