Summary of the contracting process

Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) has initiated a tender for the Fire and Intruder Alarms & Fire Protection Equipment services. The procurement exercise aims to create a framework agreement split into geographical lots - Midlands, Greater London, and National Coverage. The potential framework value extends beyond the 4-year term, allowing contracts for up to 5 years. The current buying organisation, EEM, collaborates with partner consortia for this procurement, enabling authorised users in specific regions to engage. The tender status is 'active', and interested businesses can explore opportunities through the designated portal before the submission deadline of July 15, 2022.

This tender provides an opportunity for businesses in the fire safety and security sector to grow and expand their operations. Companies specialising in fire and intruder alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, and related equipment can compete for contracts in different regions. With a clear emphasis on compliance and maintenance services, businesses with expertise in installation, upgrading, maintenance, and related works are well-suited to participate. The varied award criteria, including quality and cost assessment, offer a fair and competitive landscape for businesses to showcase their capabilities and secure contracts for the specified lots.
