The Authority has awarded a contract to a concessionaire to provide repair, maintenance and installation of climate friendly bus shelters and to display advertising on the paper and digital shelter panels for a return of profit share.
Lot Information
Lot 1
This concessions contract is for the installation, maintenance and repair of concessionaire owned climate friendly bus shelters with rights to advertise on the bus shelter panels in accordance with advertising guidelines set by the Authority and advertising standards. This will initially be in the Boroughs of Gosport , Hart and Rushmoor with scope for further areas to be encompassed into this contract. The remaining eight Borough/District Councils in Hampshire can fall in scope for this contract, however there is no guarantee that they will do so . The numbers and locations of the shelters can change throughout the term of the contract and there is no guarantee of additional shelters being included in this tender. The shelters will be owned and maintained under the responsibility of the successful concessionaire. The Contract will commence on 18th July 2024 and will be for a period of ten years with the option to extend for a further five years. Concessionaires will pay an annual fee to the council and/or a percentage of revenue, whichever is higher. Additional information: The initial term is 120 months with an extension period available for up to a further 60 months.
