Obsolete Door Entry Systems Upgrade Programme 2026-2027
Notice Description
The Works comprise of upgrading existing door entry systems to over 1050 blocks, owned or managed by the employer within the contract area, which are aging and will soon lose the ability to communicate as they currently use PTSN Copper BT landlines and modern devices, by replacing these lines of communication with a 4G GSM to cloud communication device. Swapping outdated PAC fob reader systems to new KMS cloud systems as these are outdated and only allow a small number of fobs to be stored on the memory. The Contract is awarded under the JCT Measured Term Contract 2011 for a fixed term of 18 months, commencing on the 1st May 2026 and expiring on 31st October 2027. There is no provision for extension. No guarantee is given as to the volume or value of works to be instructed. However, for indicative purposes only, it is anticipated that works with a total value of PS1.0M to PS1.2M per annum may be issued under this contract. This underlying contract is awarded via Mini Competition from Lot 11 - Servicing, Installation and / or Repairs of Security Systems Including CCTV and Access Controlled Entry Works of the EN:Procure Dynamic Purchasing System Agreement for the Provision of Compliance Works. Servicing and/or Repair of Air Source Heat Pumps

Installation of Air Source Heat PumpsInstallation of ASHP (air source heat pump units), all associated works including preparation and making good works to various predominantly tenant occupied domestic properties and voids; all works should include test & commission of the system in accordance with manufacturer's instruction.
Servicing and/or Repair of Solar Photovoltaic (Solar PV)Servicing, maintenance, inspection, and/or repair of solar PV systems shall include but not limited to conduct visual checks for cracked glazing, cell delamination, damage from pests or storm damage and faulty parts. Check electrical installation for damage, arcing or corrosion and loose connections, check monitoring system for any dropouts or unusual patterns, monitor and record the inverter's performance, where appropriate check battery fluid levels. Leave units clean and clear of debris and in good working order.
Installation of Solar Photovoltaic (Solar PV)Installation of Solar PV Systems shall include but is not limited to the survey, design, supply and installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery storage.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Lightning Protection, Surge Protection and Earthing SystemsProvide installation, maintenance, inspection servicing, and/or repair of lightning protection services including but not limited to earthing systems, surge protection, conductor testing and soil sensitivity testing.
Water Hygiene Works (including Water System Management and Services, Water Treatment Equipment and Products and Legionella Risk Assessment)Identify and assess sources of risk, water sampling (Legionella) and maintenance.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Sprinkler Systems WorksCarry out servicing to sprinkler systems and/or installations to dwellings/blocks in line with manufacturer's instructions. Provision of minor repairs.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Fire Compartmentation WorksWorks to include but not limited to fire compartmentation works to blocks of dwellings, and provision of minor repairs as necessary. Fire stopping, checks to fire doors, protection of means of escape.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Fire Alarm Systems WorksCarry out servicing to fire alarm systems and/or installations to dwellings/blocks, and provision of minor repairs, as necessary.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Portable Fire Fighting Equipment WorksUndertake tests on portable fire-fighting equipment such as extinguishers, fire buckets, fire blankets etc.
Servicing, Installation and/or Repairs of Security Systems including CCTV and Access Controlled Entry WorksSupply and install security measures that control access to buildings including door entry systems comprising of remote lock control, internal/external speaker systems including all necessary wiring and connections. Carry out servicing and provision of minor repairs, as necessary. Closed circuit TV system installation in or around a building for security systems, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV. Carry out installation, servicing and minor repairs to automatic barriers, gates, turnstiles, or access control systems.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Warden Call Systems WorksInstallation and maintenance of an emergency Warden Call system. Design, supply, install and maintain the Warden Call system for services such as Sheltered Housing Schemes. Carry out servicing and provision of minor repairs, as necessary.
Servicing, Installation, and/or Repairs of Intruder Alarm SystemsCarry out installation and servicing to alarm systems to dwellings/blocks, and provision of minor repairs, as necessary.
Portable Appliance TestingCarry out PAT (portable appliance testing) through visual inspections and electrical testing to ensure the safety and suitability of electrical appliances.. For Class I electrical equipment inject test signals into the cable and appliance to ensure their integrity.
Installation, Refurbishment, Servicing and Maintenance to Lifts, Stairlifts and Personal Lifting EquipmentInstallation, refurbishment, servicing and maintenance to lifts, stairlifts and personal lifting equipment which may include (but not be limited to); escalators, ceiling hoists, evacuation chairs, curved or straight stairlifts, hoists, through floor lifts, wheelchair platform lifts, step lifts, ceiling track hoists.
